Preparation:
Step 1
Measure the surface area and draw guidelines with the help of the Level to ensure a successful installation.
Step 2
Cut the first wall panel to size to the desired height, using a miter saw with a finishing blade. Run a thin bead of panel or construction adhesive 1" (2.54cm) from all four edges and middle of the panel. Position panel on the wall and ensure it is straight and level.
Step 3
Using black screws secure the panel onto the wall. Slide the second panel into the first panel and ensure it is flush with the edge of the panel. This helps ensure a seamless finished look. Repeat until desired area is covered.
NOTE: Black felt can be easily trimmed with a utility knife.
